Locally based Bridgeway announced the completion today of a large playground stencil project at Knoxville’s Mable Woolsey Elementary School featuring products from Bridgeway’s Ursa Major Stencils product line. Playground features included a 20 foot by 36 foot map of the United States, Four Square and Hopscotch stencils, and two AlphaGator stencils with both the upper and lower case alphabets.
“This was a great project combining the resources of Bridgeway, parent and children volunteers, and Mable Woolsey staff”, said Tammy Diefendorf, Director of Production and Business Development at Bridgeway. “It’s our goal to have our playground stencils on every playground in America to create both a fun and educational way to further enhance the playground experience, and this project demonstrates our commitment to our community and to creating healthy environments for our children”, Diefendorf continued.
Mable Woolsey Principal, Tara Bahnks, added, “Our kids watched the whole process and are really excited to be learning new playground games. I’m very happy to have worked so closely with Bridgeway to put this together.”
Bridgeway has created a whole line of both recreational and educational stencils, all manufactured by persons with disabilities.
